Most individuals/members never have to pay for RiverCPD.
Usually, associations and employers sign-up and offer RiverCPD as a member or employee benefit.
If your association or sector isn't signed up and no alternatives exist for your sector, we'll set one up for that sector. On a sector platform, Basic is free and you only pay if you want Pro.

For professionals
What you pay depends on how you get in.
Through your association. Your association signs up and determines how you get access. Some include RiverCPD in your membership. Ask your association about RiverCPD.
Through your employer. Your employer signs up and gives you access. You don't pay.
On a sector platform. No association or employer behind you? Join the platform we run for your sector. Basic is free. Pro is £18 / $24 a year, and you pay.

If your association later covers RiverCPD for its members, we'll refund the months you've paid for and not used.
For associations
Year one is free. Then £6 per member per year.
You pay for members with an account on RiverCPD. With single sign-on, a member's account is created the first time they sign in with your association's login. So your system starts empty, and from year two you pay for the members who have signed in. If you import your whole membership, you pay for everyone you import.
Minimum £1,500 a year. Over 5,000 accounts, we'll give you a quote.
Pay monthly or annually. You buy an account allowance with room to grow. If you go over it, the extra accounts are charged pro rata if you pay annually, or added to your next month's bill if you pay monthly.

Pricing questions
Do we pay for members who never use it?
Not unless you choose to. You pay for members with an account on RiverCPD. With single sign-on, a member's account is created the first time they sign in with your association's login. So your system starts empty, and from year two you pay for the members who have signed in. If you import your whole membership, you pay for everyone you import.
Should we import everyone, or let accounts create themselves?
Import everyone, and every member finds their history waiting on day one, and every imported member is billed from year two. Let accounts create themselves, and you pay only for the members who sign in; members who never do cost nothing. Many associations import their history for the members who already record, and let everyone else join by signing in.
What counts as a member account?
An account on RiverCPD, created when a member first signs in with your association's login or when you import them. Deactivated accounts aren't billed. If new accounts take you over your account allowance during the year, the extra is charged pro rata if you pay annually, or added to your next month's bill if you pay monthly.
What happens at the end of year one?
A month before year one ends, we'll send you your uptake and completion figures and your price for year two. If you don't continue, you can have all your data back.
Can we leave, and take our data?
Yes. Members can export their own records at any time, and we'll give you a full export of your scheme's data if you leave.
