If your GPhC records are reviewed
Who reviews your revalidation records, when you'll hear, what happens if they fall short, and what the GPhC says about AI.
What you submit, and who reviews it
Every year, GPhC-registered pharmacists and pharmacy technicians submit four CPD records (at least two of them planned learning), one peer discussion record and one reflective account through myGPhC, at least two months before registration expires.
Some records are reviewed each year by a pharmacy professional and a lay reviewer.
What happens next
Expect feedback within about six weeks. If your records don't meet the standard, you'll go through remediation.
Can I use AI to write my records?
In April 2026 the GPhC published guidance on AI in revalidation. It isn't appropriate to use AI to create full revalidation submissions or to falsify information. Using AI to check grammar or review a record is allowed. Misuse can lead to fitness-to-practise action.

Keep your own copy
myGPhC shows the last four years of records. Records from before 2021 were deleted from 1 September 2025, and records can't be downloaded from myGPhC. So it's sound advice to keep your own copy of what you submit.
