The rule in one sentence

CIPD members must take an outcomes-based approach with no fixed hours, keep a development plan, submit at least three reflective CPD records a year via the My CPD Records tool, and produce three records if randomly selected for the annual audit.

Selected for audit?

Breathe. Here’s your plan, week by week.

CIPD's audit is a random annual sample and is explicitly developmental: you receive feedback rather than a pass/fail mark. You are asked for three records, which you should already have in the Learning Hub. The only new work is checking they show impact on your practice.

Can I record my CIPD CPD in RiverCPD?

CIPD asks members to submit at least three records a year through its own My CPD Records tool, so that's where they need to go. CIPD's own guidance is linked above.
