The rule in one sentence

Every CORU registrant must complete at least 30 CPD credits (1 credit = 1 hour of new or enhanced learning) in each 12-month period, keep a CPD record, declare CPD engagement at annual renewal, and submit the record if randomly selected for their board's audit.

Help with reflection

The coach asks what you learned and how it changes the way you work. You write the answer.

Selected for audit?

Breathe. Here’s your plan, week by week.

CORU audits are a random sample, not a judgement on you. The reviewer checks that your record covers the four required areas for the audit period, nothing more. If your record is kept up to date, submitting it is a matter of copying it into the portal within 30 working days.

What if my association has its own platform?

CORU doesn't prescribe a format. It checks that your record covers four areas. Most associations don't make you use their own system either. Keep your record in RiverCPD, and when you're audited, download it and submit it through your registrant profile.
