The rule in one sentence

Every registered pharmacist must submit, via the ROL portal by midnight 31 May, a portfolio of at least 30 hours of CPD organised into 4–10 cycles covering the 1 June–31 May CPD year, and may be sampled for assessment.

Help with reflection

The coach asks what you learned and how it changes the way you work. You write the answer.

Selected for audit?

Breathe. Here’s your plan, week by week.

Being selected is routine: PSNI assesses a sample of around one in ten portfolios every year, some at random and some by category. Your portfolio is read by an independent pharmacist assessor against the published cycle criteria. If it falls short, you get two structured chances to resubmit before any decision about registration is made.

What about the ROL portal?

You still submit through PSNI's ROL portal: that's the only way in. Build your cycles in RiverCPD during the year, so when the portal opens on 1 April your portfolio is already written and ready to transfer.
