The rule in one sentence
AAT sets no fixed hours; members must assess their learning needs, plan and complete relevant CPD, review regularly, keep records for at least five years, confirm compliance at each membership or licence renewal, and provide records when AAT requests them.

Help with reflection
The coach asks what you learned and how it changes the way you work. You write the answer.
Breathe. Here’s your plan, week by week.
AAT monitoring is a request for your records, and the policy's first response to a gap is support, not sanction. Because there are no hours to count, the reviewer is looking for a visible cycle: needs assessed, activity done, insight recorded. A maintained record is all that is needed.
Do I have to use AAT's CPD tools?
No. AAT offers a CPD Cycle tool and an online CPD Record, but accepts other records. Keep yours in RiverCPD and download it whenever AAT asks.
