RiverCPD and mycareerpath compared
mycareerpath is the Engineering Council's own professional development system. It's licensed to professional engineering institutions and built around UK-SPEC, which makes it a natural fit for tracking development towards registration and preparing for professional review. RiverCPD is built for running a CPD scheme day to day: members recording on their phones, a coach that helps with reflection, targets from your CPD policy, and the annual CPD sample the Engineering Council asks licensed institutions to carry out, all in your institution's brand.

The Engineering Council asks licensed institutions to sample at least 5% of registrants' CPD records each year (Engineering Council, CPD). In RiverCPD that's an audit round: choose the sample size, and the system selects members at random, collects their submissions and records each decision.
